The Heart&Stroke Foundation Certified BLS RENEWAL (BL)(Formerly HCP CPR/AED) Course has an Online Portion and Classroom Portion.  Classroom is scheduled 9-11am or 5-7pm.

The Blended BLS RENEWAL Course includes CPR/AED C.

BLS Blended Renewal is the fundamental renewal course for healthcare professionals and emergency medical providers, combining self-paced online learning and in-person instructor-led skills training. The course covers the same curriculum and teaches the same skills as the conventional instructor-led course, including single- and multi-rescuer basic life support skills with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics in a wide variety of prehospital and in-facility settings.

BLS is a prerequisite for advanced resuscitation courses and many healthcare-related training programs. A current completion card is often required for employment in the healthcare field.

The BLS Blended Renewal course assumes comprehensive awareness, knowledge, and skill proficiency in Heart & Stroke BLS concepts. This fast-paced course is for students who are confident in their BLS skills, use their skills regularly and require limited practice. Students have access to the online environment for 1 year.

Course Completion Card

BLS Provider Valid for: 1 year* *Heart & Stroke recommends annual renewal of BLS skills. BLS Provider certifications issued prior to May 15, 2022 are valid for 2 years in Quebec.
